Position:
Director of Product Design

Location:
Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead the product design team and oversee the development of the dating app’s design strategy
• Define design guidelines and standards to ensure a consistent and appealing user experience
• Collaborate closely with product management, development, and other relevant teams to understand and implement design requirements
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs for new features and product enhancements
• Conduct user research and testing to validate design decisions and optimize the user experience
• Lead and develop a team of product designers, including hiring, training, and motivating staff
• Continuously evaluate and improve the product design process to ensure efficiency and quality
• Collaborate closely with other departments such as marketing, customer service, and sales to support the company’s design goals

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in product design, graphic design, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in product design, preferably in mobile application or digital product development
• Proven track record of leading design projects and developing successful product design strategies
• Expertise in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar programs
• Strong leadership skills and experience leading a design team
• Excellent understanding of user-centered design and UX principles
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate complex design concepts effectively
• Knowledge of German is advantageous
• Fluent English skills; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous
