Position:
Software Security Engineer

Location:
Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain security solutions and policies for the dating app
• Conduct security analyses, penetration tests, and code reviews to identify and address vulnerabilities
• Monitor systems for security incidents and proactively respond to potential threats
• Collaborate with the development team to integrate security aspects into the development process and ensure compliance with security requirements
• Conduct training and workshops for developers and staff to raise awareness of security practices
• Evaluate and select security tools and technologies to enhance the security infrastructure of the dating app
• Work closely with other teams such as the privacy team and customer service to ensure all security requirements are met

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software or information security, preferably in the mobile applications or digital platforms domain
• Deep understanding of security concepts, attack techniques, and security standards
• Experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technologies
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++, and experience in developing secure code
• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are advantageous
• German language skills are advantageous
• Fluent English skills; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is advantageous
