Position:
Accounting Manager

Location:
Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire accounting function of the company in Dubai, including financial reporting, bookkeeping, and accounting
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for the management team
• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting regulations and standards
• Prepare and monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Responsible for cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning
• Develop and implement efficient accounting policies and procedures
• Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals
• Collaborate closely with other departments such as finance, legal, and operations to achieve the company’s financial goals

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the technology industry or startup environment
• Expertise in applying accounting principles and practices, as well as knowledge of IFRS
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Excel skills
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is advantageous
• Fluent English skills; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous
